The Village School History
Founded in 1966, The Village School offers the best of an American education to an international community. Today, we’re home to a vibrant multi-cultural student body from 2 to 18 years old. Situated in the energy corridor of Houston, Texas, our private school is best known for our rigorous academics, highly individualized learning, and global context.
Students’ success in our differentiated programs prepares them to attend outstanding US colleges and international universities, often with top scholarships.

The Class of 2023 Village students achieved excellent results in this year's International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme (IBDP) exams. With an average score of 32.7 points, surpassing the global average of 30.2 points. 90% of the students achieved their top university choice, they received offers from prestigious universities such as Columbia University, Rice University, Boston College, Cornell University, Duke University, NYU, and UT Austin. These students received 13.4 Million in scholarships!
With over 1640 students, The Village School is honored to receive the prestigious “Best Private School” title at the Houston Chronicle’s Best of the Best Gala 2023!

In addition to winning the “Best Private School” title, The Village School also won the “Houston's Best Summer Camp” title and one of our faculty members, Carly Wilson, won the “Houston's Best Teacher” award!

Enrichment Organization
As a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit, The Village School Enrichment Organization is committed to enhancing the educational experience of students and teachers at The Village School.
We provide financial support to programs that encourage creativity, innovation, sportsmanship, teamwork, and personal expression from various interests and age groups. From 18 athletic teams, to the arts, and speech and debate, we offer programs that nurture talent and encourage growth. Our organization continues to expand which programs we include and support based on the evolving needs of our community.
Your donations help us continue to deliver these remarkable programs year after year.
