The Middle School Speech & Debate Team has established itself as a national powerhouse, recognized as one of the Overall Top 5 Schools of Excellence in Speech and Debate for the last SIX National Tournaments—including being named THE top school at the 2025 NSDA National Tournament in Des Moines, Iowa!
Our track record speaks to this success: we have achieved a total of 116 State Finalists and 23 State Champions, and 40 National Finalists and 6 National Champions. The team has proudly won the TJSDA State Title 4 out of the last 5 years, and we are the reigning 2025 State champs! This academic year alone, our Middle School team has achieved 1st place in overall Sweepstakes at every one of the four tournaments they have attended.
