You are cordially invited to The Village School's Annual Gala, scheduled for April 25th at Beckendorff Farms in Katy!
Adults-Only Celebration
The Gala is a dazzling and festive gathering that unites the community while supporting the school’s vital student enrichment programs.
Fun Atmosphere
This year's theme, Boots & Bling, promises a spectacular evening! Enjoy dancing, entertainment, an open bar, silent and live auctions, and a sumptuous dinner. This year, we are doing buffet style with meat carving stations and, of course, vegetarian stations too.
Programs & Goals
Last year’s gala supported the Athletics Program, providing essential funding for new equipment and travel tournament support for student-athletes. This year’s gala is dedicated to directly supporting our Fine Arts, Speech and Debate, and STEM programs (including Robotics and Computer Science). Our ambitious goal is to meet or surpass last year’s gross of $146,000, which was the highest ever raised and nearly three times the amount of the previous year! The proceeds fund necessary equipment, specialized resources, and crucial experiences that fall outside the school's operating budget. Your support is vital, as it allows us to elevate student opportunities while easing the financial burden on our families, allowing all students to participate in activities they are passionate about.
-
Fine Arts: Funding for new equipment and resources for all disciplines within Fine Arts, along with specialized tournaments and enriching workshops.
-
Speech and Debate: Covering tournament-related costs, additional coaching sessions, and resources.
-
STEM Programs: Funding for tools, equipment, supplies, and competition costs for Robotics and future programs/projects within this category.
Funding Allocation Details
This year's gala is proudly co-presented by Village Enrichment and VSPA. Funds are distributed through two methods:
-
Wishlist Fulfillment: Teacher leads from supported programs have created specific wishlists of items for parents to purchase directly, fulfilling needs immediately.
-
Remaining Net Proceeds: After all gala expenses are paid, the remaining funds will be divided as follows:
-
25% to Fine Arts
-
25% to Speech and Debate
-
25% to STEM (Robotics/Computer Science)
-
10% to VSPA, up to a maximum of $5,000, for their collaboration, and to fund community-building efforts.
-
10% to Village Enrichment Administrative Expenses, covering our non-profit operational costs (CPA, accounting, IRS filings, auction/online payment platforms, etc.).
-
5% to the Special Projects Fund, designated for special requests that fall outside the usual scope of program support.

Ways to Support The Gala

1
Sponsorship Levels
Sponsorships offer high brand visibility at the 2026 Gala, providing your best chance to align your family, foundation, or business with VSEO's mission of supporting Fine Arts, Speech & Debate, and STEM programs. Top-level sponsorships include ultimate priority access and VIP perks for your guests, including a dedicated personal butler and priority service at your Premier Table for 10. As a major partner, you receive year-round visibility, including an oversized banner on the campus fence for 1 year, the largest logo placement on gala signage, exclusive sponsor spotlights across our website header and social media channels, and other perks.
3
Wishlist Shop
Teacher Program Leads (Fine Arts, Speech & Debate, and STEM) have compiled this list of essential needs that fall outside the school's operating budget. By funding these needs, you directly reduce the financial burden on participating families, ensuring all students can access these valuable enrichment programs. This shop allows you to fund:
1. Physical Items: Equipment and supplies (like fine arts equipment) will be purchased as soon as possible.
2. Non-Tangible Support: Program costs such as tournament fees, coaching sessions, workshops, and travel expenses (funded as the need arises).
All support is acknowledged: tangible equipment will feature a recognition plaque, and other gifts will receive acknowledgment as detailed in the item description.

4
Adopt-a-barrel
Be the Host with the Most! Adopt-a-Barrel lets you claim your own exclusive piece of the party. Individuals and businesses can sponsor a barrel, turning it into a stylish, high-top VIP cocktail table and exclusive gathering spot for you and your guests, branded with your name or logo. The best part? Once the cocktail hour concludes, simply move your bottles to your dinner table to continue the celebrations.
6
Auction Bidding & Gala Tickets
You do not need to attend the gala to support our mission (although we would love for you to)! Everyone can take part in this year's effort to raise funds for Fine Arts, Speech & Debate, and STEM (including Robotics and Computer Science).
Register to bid and view all available items. The silent online auction will open two weeks prior to the gala event date.
Tickets to the gala are $250 and will be on sale in January, after the winter break.
